Episode 25 [Community Voice]: Going Hard

Community Voice guests Khan & Myrkel, from US guild No Quarter, join us this week to discuss a wide array of topics including patch 1.10, dimensions, the support role in Storm Legion, and much more.  Elrar was lurking in the chatroom and tossed us a couple of crumbs as well.  Later on, our guests give us some insight into their guild and what its like to be a part of No Quarter.  We discover a little about what happened with the recent exploiting that lead to some controversy regarding credit for the Maelforge world first kill.  And most importantly, we're on a boat!  Don't worry, you'll understand.

  1. No Quarter are just acting pathetic... Why are you even trying to defend them. "What are you going to do, ban half their raid core?". No, you tell them it's not acceptable and if they continue to do it you will take action, you think your raiders will keep exploiting? No way.

Not all top guilds used this exploit, so no, it's not an excuse

  2. Agreed with the previous comment.

I hope you never have these guys on the show again. They come across as blatant jerks as I fully expected going into the episode. They are definitely not anyone I would ever want to play with on any level.

Oh, and nice job insulting the entire Faeblight shard.

  3. We've received a lot of unfortunate feedback in regards to this episode and deeply apologize to anyone that was offended by our guests. We wanted to give NQ the same opportunity that we would give anyone else interested in being a part of Community Voice.

We promise you, the hosts of Overcast have absolutely nothing against Faeblight. Apologies for missing that part during the editing. Some ground rules were set for this interview and the resulting episode apparently teetered on inappropriate for a lot of our listeners.

It was absolutely never our intention to offend or insult anyone. Hope to see everyone back for episode 26, where things can get back to normal.

  7. Hey guys, this is Joe from the show, because of personal reasons, it seems RoC is officially dead, at this moment, we enjoyed every episode we did, and every bit of feedback, and comments we got from all of our fans, thanks for all the support. If anything changes and we come back we will update our thread on the official forums and this site will be updated accordingly. As of now though it seems bleak. Thanks again everyone, good luck.

  8. Wow... all your listeners must be really soft if they were offended by what was in this episode. If your listeners in any way blame the hosts then they should learn that the internet isn't filled with kittens and rainbows. Grow some balls.

  10. We've received enough requests to make episode 25 available again. The language in this episode is offensive at times and does not reflect the opinions of the hosts. As pointed out by multiple listeners, however, the episode does still contain a lot of quality conversation. So, as per your requests, episode 25 is now once again available.
